The Program buyer is responsible for sourcing all components present in the project BOM for which it is responsible, in accordance with the Division's purchasing policy, with the aim of optimizing Quality, Cost and Delivery performance (QCD).

Main Tasks:
• Source all components present in the project BOM in accordance with the strategy and the available supplier panel
• Estimate or validate the costing BOM during the acquisition phase
• Represent purchasing within the program team throughout the acquisition phase and the development phase of the program
• Monitor the purchasing costs of the BOM compared to the initial business figure
• Monitor the project progress from supplier side throughout the development phase of the program against internal program milestones
• Officially transfer the program to plant Buyer within SOP- 3 months and SOP
• Is the partner/support of the ASQ in order to deploy the APQP at the supplier
• Report Program purchasing performance indicators to program purchasing manager and project managers

• Diploma of Business School or Engineer with a specialization in International Purchasing
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in an automotive environment
• Results orientation with competence in written and oral communication, International orientation
• Finance basic and Good knowledge of the English language (oral and written): German is a plus
• Knowledge of project management (planning follow-up, risk management, ...)
• Mastery of negotiation techniques, technical versatility in order to understand all the elements that will intervene in the realization of the overall project
