For our client, one of the largest 100 automotive suppliers worldwide, with offices in 16 countries, we are recruiting Product Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop mechanical component based on given requirements through component design, validation and towards a fully released component in mass production
• Ensure proactive requirements and risk management for mechanical components according to MSPICE process description consisting of:
- Requirements analysis
- Component design
- Sample production
- Test against design and requirements
• Ensure domain requirements as well as cost targets, design-to-manufacture and timing goals are met
• Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific and legal requirements
• Collaborate with other internal functions like design, validation, manufacturing and industrialization
• Supervise and execute component testing including handling of hazardous substances, interpretation of test results, introduction of the necessary actions and modifications as required to ensure that all requirements are met

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable education
Min 1 - 2 years of work experience in automotive engineering
• Ideally experience in mechatronics systems
• Experience in mechanical SPICE process is a strong plus
• Common plastic design and manufacturing processes knowledge including welding and assembly is a preferred
• Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific and legal requirements
Business English language skills are mandatory,basic German language skills are a plus
