For our client, a top Romanian airline company, we are recruiting Legal Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
- coordinating the activity of the Legal Department (4 direct reports and a number of subcontractors)
- defining and implementing the organization's legal strategies and procedures
- advising the Top Management, the Board of Director and all the departments on issues regarding the legislation and legal implications of all actions
- acting as legal / law competence center for all support departments in the company, as requested
- ensuring the implementation of the projects from legal perspective
- ensuring the achievement of Legal KPIs
- representing the interests of the organization in relation with its customers, suppliers and all business partners
- negotiating all contracts, as well as reviewing and managing all contracts and legal / official documents of the company
- being continuously updated with the legislation and informing stakeholders about legislative changes
- maintaining the relationship with law firms and other business partners and external consultants

- College degree in Commercial Law
- a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role (leading the legal department of a major company), while Labor Law expertise is a plus
- proven experience within IPO/ listed holdings having corporate governance structure
- experience in companies with investors and shareholders
- proven experience of organizing efficient processes for inhouse legal law advice with automation and reporting to Board Members
- relevant experience in dealing with corporate, commercial, work law, litigation, claims, client relationship, corporate governance, insolvency procedures
- excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communication on all levels
- trhoroughness, keen eye for details and very good organising skills
- sound knowledge of Romanian legislation
- fluent in English
