For our client, a global company providing a full range of solutions including lasers for precision industrial and scientific research applications we are looking for Global Commodity Manager, who will develop, implement and maintain a commodity supply strategy to support the company's product development and production needs.

You will have the opportunity to further develop career by:
- effectively and efficiently build and manage a high-performing global team of component Engineers supporting all Business Units
- solving dynamic problems that are important to the success of the organization and draw experience to successfully negotiate lowest total cost of ownership/ best price, OTD, lead times, customer satisfaction and quality
- collaborating directly with the company's Engineering, Category Managers, and Procurement Managers to proactively identify constraints within the supply chain and provide risk mitigation solutions to support the business
- coordinating and expediting the flow of material
- communicating risk mitigation action plans C-suite levels executive stakeholders
- negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to support the business needs

What will you bring to the team, along with your creativity and leadership is:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or business-related discipline, preferred Masters
- 5-10 years of experience in purchasing/ acquisition roles, of which at least 5 years on a Manager role
- experience managing or effectively working within multifunctional, multicultural global teams
- advanced level of English is mandatory
- exceptional oral and written communication skills to build supporting networks
- interpersonal and leadership skills with executive-level presentation proficiency
