The role of Tooling/Equipment buyer is to source all internal Tooling/Equipment necessary for the realization of the project for which he is responsible, in accordance with the purchasing policy, with the aim of optimizing Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) performance

Main activities:
• Source all internal tooling / equipment necessary for the realization of the project (proto, series) in accordance with the strategy and the available supplier panel
• Is the Tooling/Equipment representant within the program team throughout the acquisition phase and the development phase of the program
• Carry out and monitors orders on its perimeter
• Monitor the purchasing costs of internal tooling / equipment compared to the initial business costing
• Monitor the purchasing costs of the engineering changes requests during the development phase
• Provide Purchasing support in case of escalation on the Tooling/Equipment perimeter (delay, performance problem)
• Report Tooling/Equipment purchasing performance indicators to the program purchasing manager and project managers
• Facilitate the sharing of Purchasing / Benchmark / Best Practices activities in the T&E Purchasing community
• Participate in the search for suppliers/partners on new processes

• Diploma of Business School or Engineer with a specialization in International Purchasing
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position (technical purchasing)
