About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Buyer to join our client procurement team within a multinational manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in supporting the execution of strategic initiatives by working closely with cross-functional teams. The Project Buyer will drive excellence in sourcing direct and indirect materials, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage procurement activities for assigned projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance) to understand material requirements and ensure timely sourcing.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, lead negotiations, and manage contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation in the ERP system (SAP or equivalent).
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure consistent delivery and quality.
• Track project milestones and report on procurement status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and cost-saving initiatives.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on project-based purchasing.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
o Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet).
Languages: Proficiency in English - both spoken and written.
