We are looking for a Plant Controller for Department Finance & Controlling who can effective Handling function of Controlling, Accounting, Tax & Subsidies, Business Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Reporting, Internal Controls & Audit support, a person with good communication skills and strong personality.
• Effective Handling of Controlling function
• Prepare the statutory financial statements (interim mid -year and year end)
• Represent the company in relation with the fiscal authorities, auditors and external consultants
• Communication with fiscal authorities, tax specialists, lawyers and auditors to ensure legal compliance, with minimum costs for the Company.
• Ensuring the correctness of the PC & CC bookings in SAP as well correctness of account groupings
• Reported the financial results timely, reliable, and in accordance with relevant regulations in SAP.
• Maintaining and managing the GL accounts and the chart of accounts
• Maintaining the balance sheet structure according to legal and company requirements (IFRS/RAS)
• Recognizing provisions, and preparing the statement of changes in provisions
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS, and supporting statutory accounts
• Formulating the foreign VAT returns
• Timely submission of VAT (Romania), Payroll Taxes, Corporate income tax, CBS and Intrastat.
• Keeps knowledge of Romanian tax with respect to VAT, Corporate Income Tax, etc. up-to-date
• Preparation of Budgets, forecasts
• Monthly analysis and review of Financials & Operational Data with Plant management and BU controller
• SGA Expenses reporting & Control.
• Maintain already implemented procedures, check compliance and assure audit recommendations are put into action plans
• Handle Internal Audit requirements.
• Education: Master Financial Management, Finance & Control
• Has at least 3-5 year experience as an accountant
• Excellent oral and written English skills, for communication with international superior
• Local GAAP
• SAP and financial reporting systems
• Basic costing and management accounting knowledge
• Strong accounting background with clear basic knowledge
• Good analytical ability.
• Practical approach with a clear view of the objective
• Good communication - ability to explain issues clearly and in a concise manner
• Open minded, mainly open to adjust to changing work environment
• Software knowledge -MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
