• Assist the Chief Financial Officer in developing, implementing and respecting accounting policies and procedures in compliance with Romanian regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Define accounting calendar
• Lead the accounting team in daily operations, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage the external audit processes (statutory and IFRS), including preparation and coordination of audit schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support for strategic decision-making.
• Monitor changes in accounting regulations and ensure timely adaptation of policies and practices within the organization.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of financial controls and accounting systems to identify areas for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and auditing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting and auditing standards, as well as international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SAP accounting module and Excel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
